What Makes Studio Different?
We treat your personal information with respect. We can't wait to introduce you to the brilliant, creative companies we work with but we'll never submit your CV for a job without asking.
We give impartial advice. We want to find you the right job, not just any job.
We'll speak to you at a time that's convenient for you. We're available early mornings and evenings, Monday to Friday.
We provide interview coaching and will happily give feedback on CVs and portfolios. If you'd like us to, we can give you any advice you need to make your work and experience shine.
Benefits of Working with Us:
Amazing career opportunities. We work on behalf of some of the best consultancies and in-house design teams in the industry – often exclusively, which means that we recruit for jobs that aren't available through any other agency.
We give back to the design industry. Studio has sponsored the Design Week Rising Star Award for the last 6 years and Lucy, our Director, is on the judging panel. We are also proud to announce we are an official sponsor of the globally recognised Restaurant and Bar Design Awards.
Career Mentoring Events. In November 2014, we held our first career mentoring event at the Vitra Showroom in Clerkenwell. This was an opportunity for designers to meet with senior figures from within the industry to gain feedback on their portfolios and CV’s. Thanks to the event's popularity and the positive feedback from those who attended, we hold at least 2 mentoring events every year! To register your interest for future events to attend as a designer or volunteer as a mentor please email lucy@studio.eu.com.
The Studio Party. Held every year, this is our thank you to all our candidates for their hard work and a great opportunity to socialise with other designers while enjoying a great night out.
What Happens When You Get in Touch with Us?
Here's what happens when you send us your CV and portfolio:
We aim to respond to all applications within two working days.
If we have a job that's right for you, we'll tell you all about it and ask you if you're happy for us to pass your details across to the employer. We'll keep you regularly updated about the selection process, organising interviews at a mutually-convenient time and passing across any feedback we get back from the employer.
If we can't help you, we'll let you know and try to point you in the right direction if we can. For instance, we often find that companies prefer to recruit for Graduate and Junior roles themselves, so we don't always register Junior CVs. However, we're more than happy to give you any advice or feedback we can.
Working with us won't cost you anything. We receive a fee from our clients when we find them the perfect candidate!
Want to learn more? We'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have about working with us. Call the office on +44 (0) 20 3174 0185 or email Lucy Painter - hello@studio.eu.com
